Returns Policy

The Product Return/Replacement Policy of MEAMA LLC

  1. Basic principles of the Return/Replacement Policy

  1. In order to protect customer rights, MEAMA LLC has a return/replacement policy (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) in place.

  2. A return/replacement shall mean replacing a defective machine with the same type of machine.

  3. Only those products may be returned/replaced that are positioned on the web site as “Returnable” or “Replaceable”.

  4. A product may be returned/replaced within 2 (two) calendar days of identifying a manufacturing defect after purchase.

  5. A term of repairing of the machine at the service center is 21 calendar days. If a manufacturing defect cannot be corrected within the said term, the Company will replace the machine in compliance with applicable terms and conditions.

  1. The Product Return/Replacement Procedures:

    1. You should inform MEAMA’s call center (hotline: 032 280 08 08) on any returnable/replaceable product;

    2. You should provide the following information to the call center: product identification data, order number, order date, order receipt date and reasons of return (photos of the product as well as of the payment confirmation document may be required to be uploaded and sent to the e-mail address of MEAMA: call_center@meama.ge);

    3. A product may be returned only if there is a complete set of the machine – packaging box, accessories and warranty card.

    4. MEAMA provides warranty services within 1 year of the machine purchasing.

    5. No warranty service will be provided if:

  • The warranty period expired;

  • No warranty card is presented;

  • When the warranty card data and information was changed or made over;

  • A serial number on the warranty card and on the machine does not exist;

  • Manufacturing and operational rules were violated;

  • Damage and corrosion caused by malfunction of the power grid, unauthorized repair of the machine (without the service of MEAMA).

    1. A return (transportation) of the product is a responsibility of MEAMA on its own or through a transportation subcontractor within 21 business days of the request.

  1. The Product Return Conditions:

    1. A product may be returned in compliance with these terms and conditions in the following cases:

      1. There is a manufacturing defect on the machine;

      2. The product was damaged during transportation;

      3. Product’s factory packaging is unopened, undamaged;

      4. If a factory packaging of the product is opened and after examination, it was clarified that all functional characteristics of the product that is being returned by the customer are maintained and that the product has no visual defects;

      5. If a factory packaging of the product is damaged or/and after examination it was clarified that all functional characteristics of the product that is being returned by the customer are maintained, but the product has some visual defects, that are not caused by the customer’s fault.

    1. A product may be replaced in compliance with these terms and conditions in the following cases:

  1. Product’s factory packaging is unopened, undamaged;

  2. Product does not comply with the order/technical characteristics written on the web site;

  3. Product has a manufacturing defect;

  4. Product was damaged during transportation;

  5. If a factory packaging of the product is opened and after examination, it was clarified that all functional characteristics of the product that is being returned by the customer are maintained and that the product has no visual defects. In such a case, when replacing a product, a customer may have to pay additionally based on a new product cost.
